Project Introduction (2 days)

This course is designed to introduce you to this Project Planning software. During the course you will plan and create a project plan from scratch by creating task tables, linking tasks and creating task relationships, creating resource pools and assigning resources to your tasks. You will also learn how to track the progress of your project against the plan, and how to generate printed reports of your project data. You don't need to be using Microsoft® Project in order to attend this course, but you should be involved in project management and be confident w hen using Microsoft® Excel and Microsoft® Word. Project Intermediate (1 day)

This course is designed to expand on the skills obtained during the Introduction course. You will learn how to manage a Project Team online, work with Multiple Projects, use Project with other Office applications and how to customise the Project environment. The course offers those of you who have to manage projects off all sizes, additional tools and techniques to help you with project planning. You must have a good working knowledge of creating and administering Project Plans and ideally have attended the Project Introduction course. You will also need to be creating and/or managing project plans regularly. You should be using Project Professional and have installed Project Server in order to use Project Central for collaboration. For Course Outline click here.

Project Advanced (1 day)

This one day workshop concentrates on showing you the fine tuning skills that allow you to apply additional tools and techniques to existing Project plans. You will learn how to optimise your project plan, use advanced project formatting techniques, work with advanced progress tracking methods, team management using Project Central, and advanced Resource Pool and Consolidated Project tools.

You need to be using Microsoft® Project regularly and be confident when entering tasks, allocating resource and working with project progress. You must be an experienced Project administrator and manager who is consistently working with project plans and confident when working with tasks and resources.
