Enlightened Training: Training Needs Assessment

Enlightened Training can help you by carrying out a Training Needs Analysis to work out the most cost-effective way to construct your training programme.

Training Needs Analysis allows your staff to make an honest assessment of their current skills, and captures the areas in which your staff want training as well as need training. A response of ‘No' or ‘With some difficulty' (for example), contributes to a recommendation for training at an appropriate level – the training need. A response of ‘Not sure' or ‘Would like to know' (for example) contributes to an indication for additional training – the training want.

As part of our commitment to quality training, we offer a complimentary TNA for all delegates who book a place on one of our Excel Intermediate or Advanced courses being delivered at any of our training centres. This allows us to ensure that delegates have the required skill set to be able to attend the course and get the most from it. We have found from experience that this is the most effective way to ensure a high quality training provision and return on your investment. Our TNA service is an on-line questionnaire which takes approximately 5 minutes to complete.

Our standard TNA service is also available to you as an ‘add-on' to each individual course from our Microsoft Applications Courses catalogue. Using this service allows you to ensure that your delegates are being streamed to attend courses that are correct for their skill level. Each course delegate undertakes an online evaluation which is sent to them as an email link – this takes approximately 5 minutes to complete for each subject. Once all the TNA questionnaires have been completed, we evaluate the results and let you know our recommendations for training. There is an additional charge of £35.00 (plus VAT) for each delegate taking part in this process.

Our premium TNA service allows you to determine the content of a training programme for your staff. You decide which courses you would like to form the basis of your training programme, and then each staff member will complete a customised TNA covering all these subjects. The length of time it takes to complete the TNA would depend on the number of subjects covered. Each questionnaire will stream potential delegates according to their responses, ensuring they are not having to answer questions which are irrelevant to their current skill level. Once all of the TNA questionnaires have been completed, we evaluate the results and then design a training programme for you which address the identified training gap for your staff. We would provide you with a quotation for this service based on the number of staff and subjects you require analysing.

We can also tailor your TNA content to be specific to your company's job roles and requirements. We work closely with you and your staff to establish the key skills required for each role in the workplace and then design a TNA questionnaire to reflect this. Each staff member then completes this bespoke TNA, and these are streamed to ensure they do not have to answer questions which are irrelevant to their current skill level or job role. Once all the TNA questionnaires are completed, we evaluate the results and then work with you to establish a training programme designed to address the training needs of the individual and the business. We would provide you with a quotation for this service based on the number of staff and subjects you require analysing.
